Information we collect
Contact details you provide (name, email, mobile number), payment metadata processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers), and basic technical data needed to operate streaming services (IP address, device type, app version).
How Toronto’s Best IPTV Uses Your Information
To activate and support your subscription, process payments and refunds, prevent fraud, and send transactional messages. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-RLDEQ18E4V) to measure page views and aggregate technical and referral data: approximate region, device and browser type, and the referring source that brought you here. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and processes this data on our behalf; you can read Google’s practices at Google’s partner-sites notice. Our tag is configured with Google signals and ad-personalization signals disabled, so this data is not used for advertising personalization. We also use a content analytics pixel for the same aggregate purpose. We do not sell this data. To block analytics, use your browser’s cookie controls, a tracker-blocking extension, or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Your analytics choices
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Analytics storage stays switched off until you accept, and advertising signals are always off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
Where your data is processed
Our analytics provider, Google, and our content analytics provider process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. While that data is outside Canada, it may be accessible to foreign courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under the laws of that jurisdiction. Customer records we hold directly (name, email, mobile number, order history) are kept on infrastructure we control.
Data retention
Lead and enquiry details that never become an order: up to 24 months, then deleted. Customer account and subscription records: for the life of the subscription plus 7 years, the period Canadian tax law requires us to keep business and payment records. Copyright / compliance reports submitted through our reporting form: 7 years, so we can show a consistent handling record. Analytics data: retained by Google for 14 months in aggregate form. You may request earlier deletion of anything not subject to a legal retention requirement.
Your rights
Under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec’s Law 25, Alberta’s PIPA, British Columbia’s PIPA and comparable provincial legislation, you can ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it where no legal retention rule applies, withdraw your consent to analytics or marketing messages, or provide it in a portable format. Email info@torontobestiptv.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your privacy request, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or 1-800-282-1376. Quebec residents may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, and Alberta and British Columbia residents their provincial Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Marketing messages (CASL)
Under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation we only send promotional texts or emails to people who asked for them or who are existing customers, we identify ourselves and our contact details in every message, and every message includes a way to stop receiving them. Reply STOP to any text or email info@torontobestiptv.ca to be removed within 10 business days. Transactional messages about an active subscription (activation details, renewal notices, support replies) are not marketing and continue while your service is active.
