Short answer
There is no single best IPTV app in Canada — the right player is decided by your device. Android TV and Google TV boxes have the widest choice, Formuler boxes use their own MYTVOnline player, Firestick and Apple devices use store apps, smart TVs vary by model year, and Roku is the most limited. Always install from the official store for your device.
Pick the device first, then the app
Almost every "which app is best" question really answers itself once you name the hardware. The player has to exist in that device's official store, support the credential format your provider issues, and be maintained. Anything outside those three conditions creates the support tickets we see most often.
Availability in the Canadian stores changes over time. Before you commit to a specific app, open the store on the device itself and confirm the listing is there today.

You want the least fiddling

You are testing before you buy

Privacy and security: install from official stores only
A large share of the "IPTV app" content online exists to push sideloaded packages, download codes and downloader shortcuts. Those builds are unsigned, unpatched and frequently repackaged with adware. We do not publish download codes and we do not ask customers to install anything outside their device's official store.
- Install only from the Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, Apple App Store, or the TV manufacturer's own store.
- Never enter your subscription credentials into a site that is not your provider's.
- Some third-party players charge their own activation fee. That payment goes to the app developer and is not part of your subscription with us — you are responsible for those third-party charges.
- Keep the device firmware and the player updated.

Which IPTV app is best for a Firestick?
On Firestick most people use a player from the Amazon Appstore that supports the playlist or portal format their provider issues. Install it from the official store on the device, sign in with the credentials your provider gives you, and avoid any site offering a download code for an unofficial package.
Is TiviMate available in Canada?
TiviMate is distributed through the Google Play Store for Android TV and Google TV devices, so availability depends on your device and region rather than on your provider. Check the listing on your own device before assuming it will install.
What app do Formuler boxes use?

Can I watch IPTV on a Roku?
Roku is the most restrictive mainstream platform for IPTV because its channel store limits third-party players. Many customers with a Roku TV add an inexpensive Android box or Firestick on a spare HDMI input instead. Ask us before buying if Roku is your only device.
Does IPTV work on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad?

Do Samsung and LG smart TVs need a separate box?
Not always. Both platforms have store apps that accept a portal or playlist. Older sets, or sets where the app has been withdrawn, are easier to handle with a small streaming box. Note that some smart TV apps charge their own one-time activation fee, which is paid to that app developer and is separate from your subscription with us.
Should I install an APK from a download code?
No. Sideloaded packages from unknown sources are a common route for malware and for broken, unsupported builds. Install from the official store for your device. We do not provide download codes.
Which app gives the best TV guide?
